What is Autism Therapy Services at Easterseals Southern California?

Where Can I Get Services?

Therapy services are offered in all the counties served by Easterseals Southern California, including: That includes Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Imperial, Riverside, San Bernardino, Kern, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties. 

*In Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties, we also offer occupational, speech, and physical therapy for people who do not have an autism spectrum disorder. 

How Do I Get Started?

You can get a diagnostic evaluation (to see if you or your family member may have autism) without a referral. These evaluations are available at our locations in:

  • Irvine
  • Northridge
  • Ontario
  • Whittier

For all other autism-related services, you’ll need a referral. Referrals can come from:

  • Your doctor
  • A school
  • A regional center
  • Your health insurance provider
  • Or you can contact us directly to learn how to get one

How Are Services Provided?

All services at Easterseals are provided by qualified professionals who specialize in supporting people with autism.

We work closely with:

  • The person receiving services
  • Their family
  • Their doctor
  • Other team members

Together, we set goals that match the person’s needs and help them grow.

Our services include:

  • Direct therapy (working one-on-one or in groups)
  • Home programs that involve the family—because family support is a big part of success

Autism Therapy Recognized for Service Quality

Easterseals Southern California's Autism Therapy Services are officially recognized by CARF, an independent nonprofit focused on advancing the quality of health and human services. They review and approve organizations worldwide so that people can better identify organizations offering high-quality services, such as Easterseals Southern California.

The Autism Advisory Board helps make sure that Easterseals Southern California’s autism services match what people in the community need. The board also gives families and community members a chance to share their ideas and be part of the decision-making process.
